The UVeta is a water disinfection system for developping countries, invented in Mexico. The technology, a 20 liters bucket with ultraviolet disinfection unit, won a World Bank award in 2006 and was nominated for the CNN Heroes 2007.

Currently 2000 Uvetas are being installed in Baja California Sur, as a pilot project. Based on the lessons learned from this project, we will help other states of Mexico and other developping countries to implement their own clean water projects.
