The plastic injection molds for the disinfection chamber and the UV unit box were fabricated in the company Promold, in Tijuana, Baja California México. This molds allows a high quality standard for the parts of the UVeta, with snap-fit assembly and a production capacity of about 1500 parts per day.

The electronic manufacturing company Bajamex is fabricating the electronic circuit for the ballast of the UV lamp and potting the unit with resin to perfectly seal each unit.

This new version, improved thanks to the suggestions and observations of the beneficiaries of the first 500 UV Buckets, is called UVeta and will be distributed to 2000 families in the rural communities of Mulegé , Loreto and Comondú in Baja California Sur.

The project UVeta was presented to the Municipal authorities of the Loreto region in Baja California Sur. The distribution was conducted in the coastal and mountainous communities of the Loreto region. The training on water and health and distribution of the UVetas events took place in the following communities: Agua verde, San Cosme, El Peloteado, Rancho San pedro, La Altagracia, San Nicolas, San Juanico, San Javier, Última Agua y Santa Cruz.

The distribution continued in communities that had asked for the UVetas for a long time, in the La Paz Municipality: El Ancón, La Huerta, Los Divisaderos y Las Calabazas.

At the same time, the monitoring team started visiting the beneficiaries of the distribution in the Loreto Region. The monitoring consists of an interview of the beneficiary on the use and satisfaction with the UVeta as well as potential problems encountered and suggestions for improvements. Additionally, water samples from before and after the UVeta are analyzed on site with a bacteria field test kit (Coliscan Easygel).
